Phase 1–3 Research

We work with investigators, pharmaceutical companies, and other research-intensive companies to offer a better standard of quality and efficiency in clinical research.

We can help facilitate research through:

  • Site Feasibility: We can assist you with feasibility questionnaires and arrange qualification tours of our site facilities.
  • Site Participation: We can serve as a local research site for multi-centre studies.
  • Trial Management: We have experience with national multi-centre studies and can run your study from start-up to close-out.

Real World Evidence

Our Real World Evidence unit harnesses the power of real-world health data to evaluate the epidemiology and burden of disease, health outcomes, and treatment patterns, compliance, and effectiveness. The unit offers access to today’s brightest clinician researchers working in a range of diseases and methodologies.

We work closely with the Alberta SPOR data platform to provide a variety of opportunities to generate and complete informative studies. We’re also part of the Alberta Real World Evidence Consortium.

Examples of Real World Evidence at work include the following.

  • Observational studies (e.g., cohort and case control studies)
  • Pragmatic trials
  • Technical consultation
  • Comparative clinical and cost effectiveness
  • Administrative and other real-world data
