Exploring the challenges and opportunities of pragmatic trials
Dr. Sean Bagshaw (Associate Professor, Research Director Department of Critical Care Medicine) and Dr. Lawrence Richer (Associate Professor, Division Director Pediatric Neurology, Associate Dean of Clinical & Translational Research) will present on the growing interest in pragmatic clinical trials. They will explore what ‘pragmatism’ means in trials, challenges in their conduct and the unique opportunities afforded to clinical investigators in Alberta.
