The Foundation periodically issues an invitation for Letters of Intent (LOI) in areas of interest to the Foundation. The timing and frequency of invitations to submit an LOI is determined by the Board of Trustees, based on the interests of the Foundation and the availability of funds.

Funding is available for early career investigators conducting pillars 3 and 4 research, for up to $100K over two years.

This invitation is advertised on the Foundation website, and by letter to Alberta organizations concerned with health research. The Letters of Intent are reviewed by the Foundation and successful applicants are invited to submit more details proposals. The detailed proposals are also reviewed by the Foundation in competition, and funding is offered to the successful applicants.

The Foundation is now accepting Letters of Intent at this time.
