As part of the continual growth of AHS clinical lab services and review of laboratory space at the University of Alberta Hospital site, both the Clinical Trials and Point of Care Testing (POCT) units will be relocated to the Cross Cancer Institute site.
This will allow Laboratory Services to make room for the Expanded Newborn Metabolic Screening Program at the UAH Site and to strategically move towards consolidation of current services which aligns with our functional programming for Edmonton Hub Lab move.
